E033 - Meet Support of IE11 Ended, Tasks on Mobile update, Add up to 25 co-hosts on Meet, Expanded safety features for Meet
Shortest episode we have ever done! Short week at Google, and I am on vacation, so not a whole lot of schmoozing either. Back to normal next week!
E032 - Smart Compose comes to Comments in the Editors, Directly Open Office Docs, Updated Emoji experience in Chat, Forms auto save progress, ChromeOS eSIM Support and Enhanced Video Calling
This week started strong with a few releases on Monday and one on Tuesday, then that was it. Short episode this week, but we are working on getting some more guests to come on soon to fill in when we have short weeks like these. Enjoy!
E031 - Meet PWA! New font for vision impaired, Improvements to braille mode for Docs, Disable File Transfer in Chat, Dynamic Security Groups now live, Voice Enhancements, and more
Google adds another PWA to its arsenal, introducing Google Meet PWA! Course, as far as we can tell it's the same as the web version, just in a PWA. I really wanted to see them add the sidebar, but maybe that is still coming. We are going to look for someone at Google to be a guest on the show and explain the advantages of a PWA other than a nice icon on your Dock/Taskbar. Stay tuned!
E015 - Updated Workspace Storage Policy Timeline, New App Access control, Today's outage report, and Jesse's Unified Google Workspace Workflow experiment discussed for the first time ever
Google had another slim release week, almost feels like they are taking a deep breath and preparing for another sprint. We are 15 weeks into the year now and have already seen a ton of changes to Google Workspace, it's nice to have a break once in a while and get caught up.
E014 - New Citation Types in Google Docs, New Admin Console home page design, Forms for EDU now auto save through new beta, and 11 Tips for Making the most of Google Workspace
Welcome to another short episode as Google takes a breath and gets ready to hit us with another huge round of updates next week.
